Klein Tools 14" Bolt Cutter with Steel Handles features all-purpose, center-cut jaws made from forged, alloy tool steel that are suitable for soft, medium, and hard metals. The handles have heavy vinyl grips with flat grip ends for 90' cuts. The lockplate reinforcement keeps the jaw in the correct alignment by preventing the jaw bolts from loosening or turning. One adjust realigns the cutting edges. The 3-point toggle joint multiplies 50 pounds of hand pressure on the handles to up to 4,000 pounds at the cutting jaws. The cutting capacities for soft and medium jaw material is up to Brinell 300, Rockwell C31. The cutting capacities for hard material is up to Brinell 400, Rockwell C42.
