Gardner Bender 30-ft Cold Shrink Tape, 1-in Diameter features:
- Ideal for covering cable lugs, splices and termination in industrial and marine applications.
- When the tape is applied with a high degree of stretch (2 to 3 times for stretch) within two to three minutes, it has already begun to amalgamate.
- The tape is not resistant to hydrocarbon type solvents, oils and greases.
- Cold shrink tape is excellent for moisture sealing in electrical installations, such as covering cable lugs, splices and termination.
- Cold shrink tape was originally developed for power and distribution cables, but it's also used for bundling, underground wiring, pipe leaks and other general applications.
