Klein Tools 36" Bolt Cutter with Steel Handles has a cutting capacity for soft and medium jaw material that is up to Brinell 300, Rockwell C31 and it's cutting capacity for hard material is up to Brinell 400, Rockwell C42. A 3-point toggle joint multiplies 50 pounds of hand pressure on the handles to up to 4,000 pounds at the cutting jaws. The handles have heavy vinyl grips with flat grip ends for 90' cuts. It features one adjust which realigns the cutting edges. The lockplate reinforcement keeps the jaw in the correct alignment by preventing the jaw bolts from loosening or turning. The all-purpose, center-cut jaw is made from forged, alloy tool steel which is suitable for soft, medium, and hard metals.
