STELPRO 750W SCA Architectural Baseboard Heater 277 V, 150 W Per Linear Foot is able to be surface mounted or wall or floor mounted with a pedestal kit (not included). The single tubular, stainless steel sheathed element is securely fastened at the center of the heater and it is floating in nylon sleeves at each end to eliminate expansion and contraction noises. The sheathed element contains boxed aluminum fins that improve heat dissipation. The automatic reset feature provides thermal protection. The heater is designed with a 16-gauge steel front panel and an 18-gauge steel cabinet that are covered with a durable epoxy-polyester powder coat. The SCA baseboard heater is compatible with a built-in tamper-proof thermostat that is available for separate purchase. When installed, the thermostat is accessible without removing the front grill. Wiring compartments are located at both ends of the device due to the full-length wireway. It operates using top air discharge and front air intake to circulate the heated air throughout the space. This heater is ideally suited for complementary perimeter heating in public places like shopping malls, hospitals, schools, and similar locations. A 10-year warranty is included for the element and a 1-year warranty is included for the other components.
