STELPRO 900W SCA Architectural Baseboard Heater 277 V, 150 W Per Linear Foot is surface mountable or can be wall or floor mounted with a pedestal kit (not included). The heater is compatible with a built-in tamper-proof thermostat that is available for separate purchase. When installed, the thermostat is accessible without removing the front grill. The heater has a single tubular, stainless steel sheathed element that is securely fastened at the center of the heater. This sheathed element is floating in nylon sleeves at each end to eliminate expansion and contraction noises. It also contains boxed aluminum fins that improve heat dissipation. Wiring compartments are located at both ends of the device due to the full-length wireway. The automatic reset feature provides thermal protection. It operates using top air discharge and front air intake to circulate the heated air throughout the space. The SCA baseboard heater is created with a 16-gauge steel front panel and an 18-gauge steel cabinet that are coated with a durable epoxy-polyester powder coat. This heater is ideal for complementary perimeter heating in public places like shopping malls, hospitals, schools, and similar locations. A 10-year warranty is included for the element and a 1-year warranty is included for the other components.
