Can SP-400 be diluted?
SP-400 is not recommended to be diluted. Diluting SP-400 will alter the properties of SP-400. If you feel dilution is necessary you can use aliphatic petroleum distillates.
How often should I change my gear oil?
Gear oil changes should be done as suggested by the manufacturers. If you are having any work done to the gear case, you should also change your gear oil then. The key is that you can't change gear oil to often, so if you feel it needs to be done, do it.
