There are many ways to hang outdoor string lights, and the best way depends on the type of space you’re installing them in. Because CyberTech’s LED string lights are more heavy duty, more durable mounting materials are required. This includes hooks, screws, zip ties, and adhesive fasteners.

Depending on the product, some string lights may have more linking capabilities than others, anywhere from only two connections to dozens. It is important to take note of the wattage of the string light set, which indicates how much power it will draw. The stronger your electrical source, the more wattage it can support. If you link too many string lights together and don’t have the power to support them, you can short your circuit or cause a blowout.

Manufacturers will typically specify how many sets of their string lights you can link together, but if you’re unsure, you can always consult with a certified electrician.
