What is a puck light?

A puck light, sometimes called an under-cabinet light, refers to a small light with a focused beam that typically features a round or oval shape but can also include square or rectangular options. They can function as either task or decorative lighting in a variety of spaces. Install these lights under cabinets to highlight the texture and illuminate dark corners, on the patio to light up your backyard at night, or in the bathroom as to not blind people with a bright light in the middle of the night.

What puck lights does Diode LED make?

Diode LED offers two series of stylish and compact puck lights with energy efficient LEDs: The Triant 2 and the Puralight 2. Find the right puck light that provides focused task or decorative lighting in any space!

The Triant LED puck light is a stylish series that features dual input 12/24C voltage and offers many choices for mounting, finishes, and color temperature. Choose between recessed and surface mounted options. Finish options include white, black, and aluminum, while color temperature options include 3000K and 5000K. They offer a 5-year warranty.

The Puralight series features a compact led light that comes in square and linear form factors. They produce a wide beam angle that eliminates hot spots, and the IP65 rating makes these fixtures work both indoors and outdoors. An 80+ CRI and a high lumen output ensures you can see clearly and perform tasks at any time of day. Puralight has a 5-year warranty. These fixtures work well as back light or channel letter signage, halo illumination, and architectural accents.

Puralight offers many module types. A module refers to a device that contains several LED bulbs. It uses a semiconductor instead of a filament like with incandescent bulbs. Module types include Monobright, Duobright, Triobright RGB, Triobright, and Tilebright. Monobright includes a singular module, Duobright includes 2 modules, Triobright includes 3 modules, and Tilebright includes 4 modules. The Triobright RGB model includes an RGB chip.

Monobright offers a 7500K color temperature. Duobright offers 4000K, 6200K, 9000K, 11000K, blue, green, red, and yellow. Triobright includes 5000K, 9000K, 11000K , blue, green, red, and yellow. Tilebright includes 3000K, 4000K, 9000K, 11000K, blue, green, and yellow. Lower color temperatures work well to create a comfortable atmosphere, while higher color temperatures mimic daylight and work well as task lighting.
