Under cabinet lights can be powered in many ways, with the most common three methods being hardwired, plug-in, or battery-operated. Plug-in and battery-operated fixtures are ideal for DIY projects, while hardwired fixtures will likely require the help of a professional electrician to install.
ETi offers under cabinet lights with all three powering options, with standard plug-in being the most prevalent. Some of their hardwired and direct line voltage fixtures are also compatible with battery backups for multi-optional powering.
All ETi’s under cabinet lights are surface mounted fixtures, meaning they affix directly to the underside of the cabinet. You can screw them in place directly or with brackets. Some of their fixtures also have magnetic capabilities for spaces that have metal cabinetry, which makes the installation even easier.
Also, because they are linear, ETi’s fixtures also have end-to-end linking capabilities, meaning one fixture can plug in to the power source and supply power to all other fixtures in a connected line. This makes for a streamlined mounting process that results in a clean, sleek look.
