What is the difference between Fantech's MGE and MGS series?
The main difference between Fantech’s MGE and MGS series is their functionality. The MGE series is an exhaust diffuser for installation on the ceiling or wall. While it can supply air, it is mainly used to exhaust air. MGS differs because it is a supply diffuser designed to be installed in the ceiling.
What are contour grilles?
Fantech contour grilles work as either supply or exhaust grilles. They use the Coanda effect to disperse air along the ceiling which helps to eliminate cold drafts. These fans also work in heated applications as well.
One of the contour grilles Fantech offers is the CG-4 Exhaust/Supply Contour Grille. This grille is designed for quiet control of airflow and can be used for either supply or exhaust. The CG-4 works well in cold and heated applications due to its flame-retardant resin keeping them from yellowing.
