What is the difference between pressure, flow, and thrust?
Pressure, flow, and thrust are all terms of measure for air guns.
Pressure is the term of measure for potential energy stored within compressed air. Pressure is measured in PSI. Most compressed air systems have set pressure between 80 & 120 PSI
Flow is the term of measure for volume of compressed air that travels through an air gun in a minute. Flow is measured in cfm. Flow is the air gun equivalent of amperage.
Thrust is the term of measure for the effective force produced by an air gun. Thrust is the combination of pressure and flow. It is measured in pounds. Thrust is the air gun equivalent of wattage.
