What is a PL bulb?
The two different types of PL bulbs include vertical and horizontal. Vertical PL bulbs are placed vertically in light fixtures. These bulbs use G24q 4-pin bases, so they do not need to be rewired. You can find vertical PL bulbs in offices, retail spaces, and hotels since they have a compact design.
Horizontal PL bulbs, however, are installed horizontally. They also use G24 bases whether it is 2 or 4 pins. You can find horizontal PL bulbs in recessed lighting and ceiling lights.
What are Linear PL bulbs used for?
Linear PL bulbs are commonly used in commercial spaces as well as households. They are used in these areas because of their low cost, higher efficiency, and the range of applications they are used for. Linear PLs see most use in recessed lighting, outdoor fixtures, table tamps, hotels, offices, kitchens, and basements.
