What is a scuff pad used for?
These aggressive utility pads can clean the floors, finish the floors, and those hard to reach corners while cleaning baseboards. Scuff pads, also known as scouring pads or utility pads, can be used to remove light surface rusts, paints, resins, and other surface materials. They are great for preparing wall, ceiling, and floor surfaces prior to painting.
How to replace floor buffer pads and pad drivers?
To Remove a Floor Pad Driver:
Step One: simply remove the old driver by turning it clockwise. Once you hear a snap/click sound, the buffer bad holder can be removed. Pad drivers don't need to be removed from burnisher machines or ultra high speed floor buffing machines.
Step Two: To replace the the pad driver, simply twist the new pad holder counterclockwise. Some pad holders are equipped with locking rings that can easily snap onto the floor machine.
To Change Floor Pads:Simply remove the old pad, and place the new floor pad on the pad driver. The new floor pad will press firmly into the pad driver, and then the floor machine is ready to use again.
