LED filament light bulbs are LED light bulbs that resemble incandescent bulbs. Most of these light bulbs are translucent, allowing you to see the large glowing filaments. LED filament bulbs work by using an LED lined metal strip that produces light instead of heating a filament. When the light is turned on, the strip emits a uniform glow.
Like most LED bulbs, LED filaments bulbs do not produce enough heat to burn you. Since LEDs convert most of the electricity they use into light, they do not get hot. LEDs use heatsink technology to help reduce heat buildup during operation. Therefore, your LED filament bulb will not get hot.
