When to replace HID bulbs?
If HID bulbs are operating at full intensity, they should be replaced between 2-5 years from replacements or between 2000 to 10000 hours of operation.
However, some bulbs may begin to lose visibility after about 10,000 hours of working. Typically, you can tell when it is time to change the bulb if the intensity fades.
When it is time to change the bulb, look for LED replacements to have more energy efficient lighting. Use LED Corn bulbs, PL bulbs, High Bay lights, or Downlights to replace HID bulbs.
What are LED Corn Bulbs used for?
LED Corn bulbs are used as replacements to HID and SON lamps. These bulbs are used to provide a large amount of light to areas like car parks, stadiums, and streetlights. Since they are LED, they are also used for their energy efficiency and longer lifespan.
