What is an LED Retrofit Kit?

Additionally, retrofit kits can upgrade your lighting system without replacing the entire fixture.

Do I need an LED Retrofit Kit?
No. You only need an LED retrofit kit if you want to upgrade your light source without replacing the whole fixture. By upgrading to LED lights, you can use options with the LED lights like sensors to help with safety and security.
Otherwise, you could alternatively replace the fixture and wiring to ensure compatibility with many types of LEDs. Complete replacement is the better option when considering dimmable or CCT selectable lights as those features aren’t supported by most retrofit kits on the market.
