Low and high bay lights include high lumen output pendant or linear fixtures. They typically illuminate large spaces, such as garages, warehouses, supermarkets, or retail stores. High bay lighting generally consists of a ceiling height of 20 feet or more. Ceilings below 20 feet are considered low bay. High bay light fixtures can use accessories like reflectors or diffusers to evenly disperse light.
LED low bay lighting and LED high bay lights can have higher costs when replacing the entire fixture: housing, wiring, and bulb. Retrofit kits install easily and cost less.
Ensure LED high bay and LED low bay retrofit lights match current bulb bases and wiring. If the retrofits match the fixture, simply screw into the fixture after the old bulb is removed.
