LED pathway lights have a simple two-way wiring system to make them ideal for low wattage usage.  You can add zoning and dimming capabilities to control your outdoor pathway lights even further.  By controlling your wattage output through dimming the light you are guaranteed to get the longest lifespan out of your pathway lights.  Dimmability is a great way to conserve energy around the home or office.

When a bulb has a frosted covering, it will affect the color of the bulb but not the color index.  A light bulb’s color rendering index, or CRI, is referred to its brightness, but a frosted bulb will only affect its appearance.  A clear bulb will always be the sharpest light, but a frosted or milky bulb can still have a high lumen output. • 20 Watt LED replaces a 100 Watt Incandescent bulb
• A 14 Watt LED replaces a 75 Watt Incandescent
• A 12 Watt LED replaces a 60 Watt Incandescent
• A 8 Watt LED replaces a 40 Watt Incandescent

LED pathway light fixture have a few options in terms of installation brackets and mounting.  The most common bracket is a recessed housing kit. Most of the time, these types of lights are used alongside building walls and sit flush without any visible hardware.  They are designed to sit flush inside the housing either behind the wall or below the surface of the ground.
