LED tubes come in lengths from 1 to 8 feet long. Depending on your situation or fixture, different tubes length are needed. In office settings, you will usually find 2 to 4 foot length tubes while 8 foot tubes are usually found in industrial and older retail stores.
If your building is currently using T12, 8 foot incandescent tubes, we recommend to retrofit to 4-foot length fixture. How to retrofit my old 8-ft T12 fixture?
The difference between the T8, T10, and T12 tubes has to do with the diameter of the tube. The number that follows the "T" stands for the diameter of the tube in 1/8 inches. Our LED tubes are designed to fit in T8, T10, and T12 fixtures.
