Navigating HE: Tracking Your Order

When shopping at HomElectrical, you can freely track your order using MyAccount. Tracking your order keeps you up-to-date on order progress, from the moment you place it to the moment it arrives at your door! From processing to shipping to arrival, we make sure you can access accurate status updates about your incoming products.

In this blog, we’ll go through a step-by-step process to show you exactly how to track your order directly on our website.

Disclaimer: You can only track orders if the order was placed while logged in as a registered account. Any orders placed as a guest cannot be tracked through myAccount. Guest orders require contacting our customer service team for order tracking updates, by phone or chat.

Step 1: Locate the “Track My Order” button on the HomElectrical homepage

From the homepage of our website, you can scroll all the way to the bottom and find the “Track My Order” link beneath our social media buttons.

Step 2: Input your account and order information

Once you’ve navigated to the Order Tracking page, you will see three text boxes. This is where you input your account and order information to search for your package.

Each box requires a different piece of information, all accessible from your HomElectrical account.

Order Number: This is the identification number associated with the item(s) you ordered. You can locate your order number by heading to your My Profile page.

My Profile can be found by clicking on the person-shaped icon in the top righthand corner of the website, then clicking "Go to My Account" when logged in.

Once there, your recent orders are displayed at the top of the page, along with the order’s identification number, typically appearing as a series of 7 to 8 numbers with a dash.

Order ID number

Email Address: Input the email address associated with your account and which you used to place the order. If you are unsure of your email address, you can verify it on your My Profile page under Account Information.

Zip Code: Type in the zip code on the shipping address that was used when placing your order. If you do not remember, your shipping address can be found on your My Profile page under Default Shipping Address.

Step 3: Click “Track Order”

Once you’ve entered all your information, click the “Track Order” button on the bottom right. If done correctly, a message should pop up informing you of the status of your order. It will look something like this:

Step 4: Understand Your Order Status

“Order XXX-XXXX is currently being processed for shipment.”

This means your order is still being processed through our internal departments and has yet to ship.

“Order XXX-XXXX has already shipped.”

This indicates that your order has been sent out.

“Order XXX-XXXX shipped on MM/DD/YYYY via [CARRIER].”

The message will include tracking numbers and a link to the carrier’s website so you can more closely monitor the location of your package.

“This order has been cancelled on MM/DD/YYYY.”

This means that your order has been cancelled and will no longer ship. If you get this message but did not cancel your order or receive notification from us, there may be an error.
