Flush mount lights are fixtures that are directly attached to the ceiling. They usually have little or gap between the ceiling. Flush Mounts are great for rooms with low ceilings because they do not protrude into the room.

Flush mounts come in all shapes and sizes to add ambiance to the room. These lights are perfect for areas like hallways, entryways, living rooms, and bedrooms.

Consult with a licensed electrician to do the installation for you. Below are the steps the electrician will take to install the flush mount.

Step 1: Following Safety Procedures

• The electrician will turn off the power and wear safety gloves.

Step 2: Mounting the bracket and connecting the wires

• The electrician will mount the bracket on the wall and connect the correct wires to each other.

Step 3: Mounting the Base

• The electrician will then connect the base of the light fixture to the mounting bracket.

Step 4: Installation of the light bulbs

• Once the light fixture is up, the electrician will place the correct bulbs in the light socket.

Step 5: Put on the shade

• To finish the installation, the electrician will put the shade on the light fixture. Once the light fixture is on, they will test to see if the light works. If it does, then they have completed the installation.
