The height of the wall sconce depends on where it’s being installed. To hang wall sconces beside your bed hang they should be hung no more than a foot away from the bed. The top of the sconce should also be between 55 and 60 inches from the floor and 30 and 36 inches from the mattress.

If a switch is supplied with the sconce, it should be installed where the switch can be easily accessed from the sitting position in the bed.
