The installation of a vanity light will require the assistance of a licensed electrician. Nuvo provides an installation guide for them to follow. Simplified steps of what the electrician will follow are below:

1. Before beginning the installation, the electrician will turn the power off and gather all the parts together.
2. Once the electrician has all the parts, they will thread the mounting screw into the circular strap.
3. Then they secure the strap to the outlet box with screws.
4. Once the strap is in place the electrician will begin working on the wiring. This includes attaching wires from the fixture to the wall.
5. When the wiring is completed, the electrician will place the wires in the outlet box and put the plate over them. Then they will put the light bulb in the socket.
6. After putting the light bulb in the socket, the electrician will turn on the electricity and test to see if the light works. If it does, then the installation is complete.

To replace a flush mount ceiling light, first turn off the power to the light.

Then take the old light down and detach the connecting wires from the fixture.

Once the wires are detached, take the new bracket that came with the new light and screw that into the junction box.

After screwing the bracket into place, you can connect the wires from the new fixture to the corresponding wires in the wall.

When the wires are all connected, you can pack them away into the wall and move the light fixture up over the screws sticking out from the mounting bracket.

Once the fixture is screwed in place, you will be able to insert light bulb into their sockets.

With the bulbs in their sockets, you can then put the cover over the fixture and turn the electricity back on to see if it works.
