Although, Installing Nuvo’s Slick 25” Vanity Light Fixture may seem like a straightforward task, please hire a licensed electrician, if you are not one, to do the installation for you. Below are the steps they will take to install the vanity light fixture.

• First, they will turn off the power at the circuit breaker before beginning the installation.
• Then they will install the mounting plate to the junction box using the mounting screws.
• They will need to make sure they secure the two screws to the mounting plate. However, they will also need to leave enough space so that the thread is available to mount the canopy with the mounting screws.
• After the screws are secure, they will pull the existing electrical wires from the junction box and connect the wires using wire nuts.
• Then they will put the canopy over the mounting plate and align the holes in the canopy. To finish, they will thread and secure the last four screws.

The width of your vanity light depends on what you want in a vanity light. It is recommended that you get a vanity light that is about 75% the width of the mirror. However, if a mirror is bigger or smaller, you can always adjust to your lighting preferences.
