To install Nuvo’s Soho Medium Flush Light Fixture, please hire a licensed electrician. The electrician will follow the below steps from the instruction guide0.

• Step 1: Before beginning the installation, make sure to turn off the power at the circuit breaker.
• Step 2: Unpack the contents of the fixture on to a clean surface.
• Step 3: Then thread the mounting screws into the mounting holes on the mounting strap.
• Step 4: Place the mounting strap on the outlet box using the screws that were provided.
• Step 5: Then connect the wire fixtures to the corresponding wall connections. Then cover the connections using the provided wire connectors.
• Step 6: Place the canopy on the outlet box. Make sure that the heads of the mounting screws come out of the large ends of the keyholes. Then twist the canopy so the mounting screws slide into the narrow ends of keyholes.
• Step 7: Screw the nipple into the bushing.
• Step 8: Install the bulbs and attach the shade as well as the washer to the nipple before securing it.
• Step 9: Once you have completed these steps, turn the power on and see if the light is working.

In general, the vanity light will not extend past the mirror. It is recommended that the vanity light should be about 75% of the vanity’s width. Measure the vanity to determine how wide the vanity light should be.

Semi-Flush mounts work best in areas with taller ceilings. They also provide more direct light when above a table or countertop.
