Nuvo Lighting Tapas Collection

A wall sconce is a decorative light fixture that is mounted on the wall, offering ambient lighting. Sconces can be placed in hallways, bedrooms, living rooms and even outdoors. Since they are attached to the wall, you do not have to worry about them taking up floor space.

To wire Nuvo Lighting’s 12-inch Tapas Sconce Light, follow the installation guide provided by Nuvo. Below are the simplified steps to wire the sconce light.

1. Place the grounding screws into the hole on the circular strap. Then wrap the ground wire from the sconce light around the grounding screw. Connect the ground wire from the fixture to the ground wire from the outlet box using a wire connector.
2. Specify which wires will go together and separate them accordingly. It is important to not connect the ground wire to the black or white power supply wires.
3. Once the wires are separated, take the black wires from the fixture and place them against the black wire from the outlet box.
4. Place a wire connector over the wires and screw until it becomes firmly in.
5. Then take the white wires and place them against the white wires from the outlet box. Place another wire connector over these wires and screw it in until it is firm.
6. Make sure the bare wires are not seen outside the wire connectors.
