How to install a wall sconce light fixture?
To install Nuvo’s Teller Wall Sconce Light, please consult a licensed electrician for the installation. Below are the instructions they will follow to do the installation.
- To begin the installation, the electrician will turn the power off to the circuit breaker to prevent electrical shock or other injuries.
- Then they will gather the materials of the fixture and place them on a surface.
- After gathering the materials, they will secure the crossbar to the junction box with the mounting screws.
- Then they will thread the nipple into the crossbar. This will allow them to position the bracket on the wall and mark the location for the drywall anchors. Then they will pre-drill the holes for the drywall and put them into the wall.
- Once the installation process is finished, the electrician will then put the green grounding screw into the hole on the circular strap. They will wrap the grounding wire from the fixture around the grounding screw and then connect the wire to the ground wire from the outlet box using a wire connector.
- Then the electrician will separate the black and white wires from the fixture and connect them to the corresponding wires in the wall. They will connect them using wire connectors and then they will screw them into place.
- Once the wires are connected, they will tuck them into the outlet box. Then they will raise the bracket and secure it.
- Then they will place the wood screws through the bracket and into the drywall anchors to secure the bracket to the wall. This will lead to them threading the nipple into the bracket and sliding the glass, plastic washer, iron washer on the nipple.
- The electrician will then slide the cap over the nipple and secure it with a finial.
- They will install the light bulb and complete the installation. They will then test to see if the light works.
