Walkway/Pathway Lights should normally be about 10 feet apart within your yard to give full illumination. However, certain factors play into how apart each light should be. One factor is the light spread. If the light has a broad beam (90° – 120°), it can be spaced further apart. If the light has a narrow beam (18° – 30°), then it needs to be closer to the other lights.

Another factor is the type of lighting the light has. If the light has accent specific features, then it might need to be closer to the other lights than if the light were closer than general pathway lights.
