The installation process should be done by a licensed electrician. Below are the steps they will take to complete the installation.

• Before beginning the installation, the electrician will turn off the power. Then they should mark the wall studs as well as the light and switch locations.
• The electrician will mark and cut the hole for the light box. And then mark and cut a hole for the light switch box.
• The electrician will then assess the outlet box type and remove the old work outlet box.
• Then they should run the wiring from the light box to the switch box. They should then install the light box on the wall.
• Once the electrician installs the light box, they can then attach the mounting hardware and attach the sconce to the wire and box.
• The electrician can now run the wiring from the switch box to the outlet and then install the switch box on the wall.
• Then they should attach the light switch to the wires and attach the wire to the outlet.
• Once the electrician finishes these steps, they can close the outlet and turn on the Sconce light.
