While replacing a wall sconce may seem simple to do, please hire a licensed electrician to complete the replacement for you. Below are the steps they will take to complete the replacement.

1. Before starting, they will turn the power off.
2. Then they will remove the old light fixture as well as the mounting bracket.
3. Next, they will install the new mounting bracket into the wall.
4. Once the mounting bracket is installed, they will attach the wires from the fixture to the wires from the wall.
5. The electrician will then tuck in the wires and attach the fixture to the wall.
6. The last step the electrician will take is turning on the power and seeing if the fixture works.

We recommend hanging the LED pendant light 72 inches (6-ft) from the ground to the bottom of the fixture. Another rule to follow is to keep the bottom of the fixture between 30 and 36 inches from the countertop.
