To clean a chandelier, do the following:

• Turn off the fixture.
• Remove any bulb or electronic parts.
• With a duster to gently wipe away dust and debris on the outside of the fixture.
• Use a cleaning solution (1-part rubbing alcohol, 4-parts distilled water) and a soft cloth to gently wipe the base and metal components.
• Do not use abrasive cleaning supplies such as scouring pads, powders, steel wool or abrasive paper.

To clean Nuvo’s 60W Ryder Series Chandelier, wipe the fixture with a soft cloth. Then clean the glass pieces with a mild soap.

To change a flush mount ceiling light, please consult with a licensed electrician. Below are the steps they will take to complete the change.

• Step 1: To begin the changing process, the electrician will turn off the power, so they do not electrocute themselves.
• Step 2: Then they will remove the mounting harness and install one if it is needed.
• Step 3: They will then prep the new light fixture, so it is easier to install onto the wall.
• Step 4: Once the light is prepped, the electrician will connect the fixture to the wires from the junction box.
• Step 5: Once the wires are connected and back into the wall, the electrician will secure the fixture to the mounting crossbar.
• Step 6: The electrician will also put the light bulbs in the socket and put the shade on the fixture.
• Step 7: Once this is completed, the electrician will turn the power back on and see if it works.
