Nuvo Lighting Skyloft Collection

To install a Nuvo 100W Skyloft Series Pendant Light, follow the installation and safety instructions provided here. Below are some simplified steps for the installation.

1. Before beginning the installation, turn off the electricity by either removing the fuse or turning the circuit breaker off.
2. You should also make sure to that all the parts to the fixture are in the box. Once you verify all the parts are there, you can start the installation.
3. To begin, thread the loop onto the nipple.
4. Then place the glass holder over the socket and secure it with the retaining ring.
5. Then secure the mounting bar to the outlet box with the outlet box screws that are provided. Thread the nut to the nipple so five threads are exposed. Then put the lock washer and thread the nipple into the mounting bar. You should secure this with a nut.
6. Thread the screw collar on the nipple. Slide the screw collar ring and the canopy over the chain. Open one link of the chain and connect it to the fixture loop. Then open the other link of the chain and connect it to the collar loop and close the link.
7. Lace the wires up through the chain and pass the wires through the holes in the collar loop.
8. After you lace the wires together, connect the wires from the new fixture to the corresponding wires in the wall.
9. Once the wires are connected, put the canopy on the ceiling and secure the collar ring. Then tuck the wires inside the outlet box.
10. Then you can install the light bulbs. After installing the light bulbs, raise the glass shade to the glass holder and secure it with screws.

Your pendant's size depends on the island's dimensions and your preferences. However, the pendant should be about one-third to one-half the island's width. This is so the island is big enough to be present but not so big that it takes up too much space.
