1. To wire Nuvo’s 60W Sommerset Series Flush Mount Ceiling Light, first please consult with a licensed electrician. This will prevent any harm to you.
2. To begin the wiring process, the electrician will connect the grounding wire to the corresponding grounding wire in the wall.
3. Then they will separate the black wire from the white wires.
4. Once they separate, they will evenly place the black wires against the black wires from the outlet box.
5. Then they will put a wire connector over the wires until they feel firm. The electrician will gently pull on the connector to see if it comes undone. If it does not, then they will proceed with the installation.
6. Then they will do the same process with the white wires by connecting those wires to the corresponding white wires from the outlet box. The electrician will need to make sure there are no exposed wires outside of the connector.
7. Once they complete that, they have completed the wiring.

Your vanity light should be about 75 percent of the vanity. In this case, the vanity light would need to be around 27 inches long. This length allows you to get ample illumination for the vanity while also not overcrowding the space.

For a 9-ft island, it is generally recommended that you choose between two or three pendant fixtures. Adding more lights may lead to too much light which can lead to discomfort. While only using one light may lead to less light and a need for more lighting. However, the actual number of lights you choose might vary based on personal preference.
