Nuvo Lighting Spirefly Collection

To wire Nuvo’s 60W Spirefly Series Pendant Light, follow the instructions below.

• Insert the grounding screw into the hole with two dimples on the mounting bar. Then wrap the ground wire from the fixture around the green grounding screw and connect it to the ground wire from the outlet box using a wire connector.
• Then arrange the wires from the fixture so they are easier to connect to the wall.
• Then take the black wires from the fixture and place them against the black wires from the outlet box. Place a wire connector over the wires and screw on until it is firm.
• Then perform the same steps to the white wires. Connect them to the corresponding white wires from the outlet box.

Changing a recessed light can be an easy task. However, please consult with a licensed electrician to do the replacement.

Listed below are some simplified steps the electrician will take to change the fixtures.

• First, the electrician will turn off the power to the circuit breaker. They will also turn the light switch off as well. This is to prevent any serious injury.
• Then the electrician will take out the existing light and light bulb.
• Once the light is out of the wall, the electrician will screw in the socket.
• The electrician will also put a channel brace in the recessed light opening. Then they will secure the brace to the recessed light housing with screws.
• Once the channel brace is installed, the electrician will install the mounting bracket on top of the brace.
• After the mounting bracket is installed, they will connect the ground wire to the side of the recessed can.
• The electrician will then install the cover plate and attach the light to the new kit hardware.
• Once the light is attached, you will be able to add a pendant to the ceiling.
