• Wiring: For LED high/low bay and strip light systems, NUVO offers additional cable solutions for power connectivity. Other available connectors can attach multiple LED strip light fixtures together to extend the amount of illumination.
• Motion sensors: PIR and microwave sensor add-ons can be inserted within compatible high/low bay lights, canopy lighting, wall pack, and occupancy lighting for security and automatic light control.
• Holders and suspension kits: NUVO has a vast collection of bases, mounts and suspension kits at various lengths and sizes available for high/low bay, barn, recessed, linear, panel and post lighting. 3ft chains are also available for additional support in suspension.
• Photocells and remote controls are available for adaptable high bay, wall pack and canopy light fixtures.

Depending on the intended use and location of your installed linear high/low bay lights, you may consider purchasing these accessories to improve the performance of your system:

• wire guards can protect your high bay light fixture from exterior damage to the diffuser panel. Rectangular wire guards are compatible with 2 and 4-ft structured models.
• microwave sensors can be added onto compatible high bay light models and offer conveniency in operation with remote control.

There are also several solutions obtainable for UFO high bay light fixtures:

• circular wire guards for 10-13 inch sized UFO lights.
• PC and aluminum shades that assist in adjusting the disbursement of light for each fixture.
• mounting brackets and adapters that convert the UFO light into a pendant light structure.

A PIR or “passive infrared” sensor is a type of motion detection device that can detect the levels of infrared radiation emitting from a person or object. PIR sensors are typically used with security lighting that is installed in indoor or outdoor commercial settings such as distribution and shopping centers. PIRs automatically switch the light on or off and control dimming in select models.

A microwave sensor is a type of light sensor that inspects movement changes within its range to automatically determine whether to turn a light on or off. Dimming is also controlled in models with this function. Microwave sensors are a great solution in areas with higher heat levels, as they won’t be negatively affected by these conditions.

A photocell detects the amount of light in the area and adjusts your light’s operation as needed. Photocell sensors are typically used for dusk to dawn lighting, as they can detect the light levels at sunrise and sunset.

Although there are specific connectors available at NUVO that can be used with high/low bay light fixtures and strip lights, standard 5.5ft connector cables for other dimmable and non-dimmable lights are listed.

Depending on the specifications of your high/low bay or strip light fixture model, you may need to utilize a cable or quick connector to join lights together and distribute power evenly. Some connectors have male and female port combinations that help to increase the options for connecting your devices.

A gimbal trim is a type of mounting hardware designed for recessed and downlight fixtures. The structure of the housing is designed to pivot to allow you to adjust the direction of the light as it sits within the trim.

NUVO gimbal trims are also a great solution for downlights that need to be installed within sloped ceilings, since they eliminate the possibility of ineffective light in the area.
