Nuvo Lighting UFO High Bay/Low Bay Light

A UFO light is a round or disc shaped fixture that resembles the shape of a flying saucer, and usually includes a polycarbonate lens.

UFO light fixtures come in higher color temperatures for commercial and industrial areas:

Nuvo UFO lights are LED systems that range from 40 to 200 watts and can consist of a maximum of 277-480 volts.

High or Low Bay refers to the height of the ceiling that a UFO light installs in.

High Bay LED lighting is intended for spaces with higher ceilings and provide evenly distributed illumination to large areas. Common areas in which high bays are used include:

• Warehouses
• Manufacturing facilities
• Gyms
• Large retail departments

Low Bay UFO lights are meant for ceilings that are usually below 20 feet and produce a broader range of lighting to fill the spaces such as workshops and garages.

Nuvo provides both 90 and 120-degree beam angle options to accommodate both high and low ceilings.

The term beam angle refers to the angle direction in which the light will shine.

90-degree UFO lights are suggested for high ceilings because they can collectively provide focused illumination to large areas.

120-degree UFO lights are used in low-ceiling locations because the diffusion of light through fewer units can easily fill the space.

The amount of UFO light fixtures needed will depend on the size and arrangement of your chosen location.

For reference, UFO lights with a lower number of lumens are best suited in smaller spaces, while fixtures with higher amounts of lumens work best in larger spaces.

• For ceilings ranging from 15 to 19 ft high, the recommended distance between each light is about 10 to 12 feet apart.
• 20 to 20 ft high ceilings should have at least a 14-foot distance between each light fixture.
• To ensure evenly distributed light in locations with ceilings that are 30 feet or higher, each light fixture should have at least a 20ft distance between them.

Nuvo UFO bay lights contain amounts ranging from 14000 to 34800 lumens and can be distanced at either 12 ft for lower ceilings or 15ft for higher ceilings.

Nuvo UFO lighting is powered with advanced LED technology and therefore does not require installation of a bulb.

The inner workings of the light is protected by a high-grade polycarbonate lens to distribute light as evenly as possible.
