What does an Arc sleeve do?

Arc sleeves are a flame-resistant type of cable sleeve. Arc sleeves wrap tightly around your cables, protecting them from fires and other harmful electrical faults. RectorSeal’s Arc Sleeves are 3ft long and easily be snap onto cables, just make sure to use RectorSeal’s Fiberglass Cord to secure it in place, both are available on HomElectrical.com

What is metacaulk?

Metacaulk is an industrial cable coating designed to protect your cables by fireproofing and weatherproofing them. Regarded by many as the industry standard, RectorSeal’s Metacaulk C70 is a great water-based, low odor, heavy duty spray coating that is ready to use after purchase without ampacity reduction. Metacaulk C70 is even resistant to UV and other radiation. It can be used on either single OR grouped cables vertically and horizontally. In total, Metacaulk 1000 can protect against flames, smoke, hot gas, and water-based damage. RectorSeal does this without the use of halogens, solvents, plasticizers, asbestos and other hazardous materials.

What is fiberglass cord?

Fiberglass cord is a multi-purpose cord used in fire stop to tie down and secure Arc Sleeves in place. It prevents both the vertical and horizontal spread of fire. RectorSeal’s Fiberglass Tying Cord provides 350-ft of length and works great with your typical cable jacketing materials, such as PVC, PUR, PE and TPE.

What is a cable end cap?

Cable end caps protect the ends of cables by creating an instant seal from moisture and corrosion damage. Easily install them in seconds by attaching the cable end caps onto the ends of cables and squeezing. RectorSeal’s cable end caps are FM approved and come in two sizes, .75-in x 1.25-in and 1.5-in x 2-in. RectorSeal reinforces the ends of these caps to prevent abrasion, and they can perform in extreme temperatures that range from –20'F to 190’F.
