Convection heating operates using air convection currents circulating through the body of the unit and across a heating element. The heated air becomes buoyant and rises.

The Stelpro DB aluminum draft barrier heater is ideal for public places like schools, shopping malls, hospitals and office buildings. It is formed with an elegant profile made with a single piece of 9-gauge extruded aluminum and an 18-gauge aluminum front panel. A single tubular, stainless steel sheathed element is used to heat and it's boxed aluminum fins provide improved heat dissipation.

What are the safety and heating features of this heater?

The sheathed element is suspended in nylon sleeves at each end to eliminate expansion and contraction noises. This heater offers front air intake and top air discharge and blank selections that are available for peripheric heating. Thermal protection is provided with automatic reset and the full-length wireway allows for easy installation. A variety of watt density selections are available to suit any application. A 10 year warranty is provided for the element and a one year warranty is provided for the other components.
