SDHR Series Round Duct Heater

Depending on your space, some duct heaters can act as a primary or supplemental heat source. They work along with HVAC applications to provide warm air through ductwork.

Stelpro offers two duct heating options: the SDHR series round duct heater and the ASB series dual-energy duct heater. The SDHR series features a round duct heater while the ASB series features a dual-energy mode.

Stelpro SDHR series heaters also use a modulation system and temperature sensor to increase the room temperature to the desired degree. The SDHR series uses elements modulated by SCR technology to help maintain a consistent temperature while providing an energy efficient performance.

The SDHR Stelpro round duct heater includes four levels of protection: manual protection, automatic protection, terminal block, and a built-in temperature limit sensor. They also offer five control options:

• Thermostat 24 VAC
• Thermostat or controller (Vdc)
• Thermostat or controller (0-10V)
• Thermostat or controller (2-10V)
• Thermostat or controller (PWM)

They offer these additional features:

• 5”, 6”, 8”, 10”, and 12” options
• Supply duct temperature sensor
• Optional electronic air velocity sensor
• Corrosion resistant 22- and 20-gauge galvanized steel cabinet
• Open nichrome elements
• Vertical, horizontal, upflow, or downflow installation positions
• Certain models feature a disconnect switch
