Sylvania LED corn lights can replace inefficient High Intensity Discharge (HID) lamps, like Metal Halide and High Pressure Sodium (HPS) lamps. High wattage lamps use more energy. Swap out your 1000W Metal Halide bulb for a 300W Sylvania LED corn light bulb and increase your energy savings and energy efficiency!
Additional benefits of Sylvania LED corn cob lamps include:
Use high lumen Sylvania corn lamps in post top lighting, street lighting, flood lighting, and loading docks or in locations with high ceilings, like warehouses and manufacturing facilities.
You can use them in low bay lighting, with ceiling height between 12-20 feet, or high bay lighting, with ceilings taller than 20 feet.
A bulb on a high ceiling will not light as much area as a bulb on a lower ceiling. To help, Sylvania corn bulbs have optional accessories, a 16-inch polycarbonate open refractor or a 20-inch aluminum reflector, to enhance the amount of area the light covers.
Fun fact: Although suitable for damp locations, these bulbs should not come in direct contact with water.
