Space Heater

A space heater, also called a portable heater, is generally used for heating one small area. The portable versions of this heater are usually electric because it requires a permanent exhaust.

Using a space heater is a cost effective means of heating because it allows for the users to control which areas receive heat instead of heating the entire structure.

BTU stands for British thermal unit which is a measurement of how much heat energy is used to raise the temperature of one pound of water. The ‘H’ refers to how many BTUs are used in an hour.
