TIG stands for Tungsten Inert Gas. TIG is a type of welding that is also referred to as Heli-arc welding. This torch is able to generate heat through an arc of electricity which originates from a tungsten electrode which is then transferred to the object that you plan on soldering.

• Two Dissimilar Welds

These torches use pressurized fuel, usually butane or propane, in order to ignite a flame. One of the main ways that they are used is for plumbing when a pipe has a leak. Miniature versions of this torch are used for:

This is usually a circular type of box that is used to store hot or heated electrodes after a welding project. The oven will keep the electrodes from causing any possible fire hazards and cool them down at the same time. It can come in a variety of sizes depending on how much space you need.
